Simplicity LP by Tim Curry        15,040 views

This LP was Tim Curry's third and, as it turned out, final album as a solo artist (1978's Read My Lips and 1979's Fearless were the other two). It is also generally considered to be the weakest album of the three, even among great fans of Tim Curry's singing.

Just under half the songs on this album are original ("Working On My Tan", the title track "Simplicity", "On A Roll", and "Betty Jean"), with lyrics by Tim Curry. The rest are covers of songs originally recorded by such diverse performers as The Lovin' Spoonful, Martha and the Vandellas, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Squeeze, and The Zombies.

The songs "Working On My Tan", "Simplicity", and "Out Of Pawn" were all re-released on CD format in 1989 as part of the Best Of Tim Curry CD. All other tracks from this album have never been reissued.
