"Lou & The Hollywood Bananas" is Francis 'Lou' Deprijck together with female singers Helena and Heidi (on this single at least). Lou was a Brussels, Belgium based singer and producer of pop music with a wide-ranging career over several decades. Probably his greatest success was as producer of the 1977 international hit single "Ça plane pour moi" by Plastic Bertrand. For "Lou & The Hollywood Bananas", their most popular track was the 1978 ska/reggae single "Kingston Kingston" which became a hit in Belgium and France.
This "Time Warp" single was released in 1981 simultaneously with a French language version of the same two tracks on another 7" single, as "Troisiéme dimension" backed with "Pas peur du loup". The French language "Time Warp" cover is actually available (as of this writing in 2009) as an Amazon MP3 Download.
