The Musical World of Rocky Horror

"Just Us Girls" is, as near as I can tell, Dick Wagner and Michael Kamen. Musicians David Sanborn and Bob Kulick may also have been a part. I don't believe they ever released any recordings other than this single. Their cover version of The Time Warp is almost completely instrumental, except for some shouting and "Let's do the Time Warp again" over and over. It has been described as "The Entertainment Tonight theme meets The Time Warp". In addition to this single, the team of Dick Wagner and Michael Kamen also produced Tim Curry's solo album Fearless in the same year (1979).

The 7" single came in a generic Epic Records sleeve, while the promotional 12" single had a plain white sleeve (the only text on it was a tiny box saying "FOR PROMOTION ONLY - Ownership Reserved By CBS - Sale Is Unlawful"). Both singles are backed with the same version of "By The Fire". The original 7" version of The Time Warp is 3:45 long, and was later re-released on CD by Cleveland International Records on a compilation album ("Cleveland Rocks", also known as "Cleveland International Records 1977-1983"). The extended 12" version of The Time Warp is 5:41 long, and has never been re-released officially on CD. There really is not all that much difference between the two versions though, apart from more of the same instrumental stuff and some non-Rocky music inserted.
