This production of The Rocky Horror Show in 2001 was the play's Korean premiere. They have had several productions since then according to their web site at www.rockyhorror.co.kr and produced this cast album from the original cast, so assumedly it was a great success! The manufacturing date listed on the back of the CD is July 24th, 2001.

Extensive liner notes are included with Korean lyrics to most of the songs, but I cannot read hangul characters so look for them in the scanned images instead (the larger versions of the images should be easily readable if you can in fact read Korean). Apparently they listed the wrong singer's name on the back cover for track nine ("Touch-A Touch-A Touch-A Touch Me"), as a sticker was affixed to the outside of the CD case with the corrected information. I included album credits in hangul characters below, but I cheated and copied those directly from their cast's web site...;-)

Some interesting choices have been made in the production of this album. While several songs from the play are missing, they have included two versions of both "Hot Patootie" and "I'm Going Home". The additional versions of these songs feature different singers, but with identical music arrangements. While most of the songs are in Korean (with bits of English thrown in for certain choruses and such), all of "Science Fiction/Double Feature" is in English and its reprise is actually sung twice effectively - first in Korean and a second time in English. The first part of "Eddie's Teddy" is also in English.
