Little Nell "Fever" 7" Single (Front Cover)Little Nell "Fever" 7" Single (Back Cover)

This 7" single released in the U.K. was Little Nell's second major single (after The Musical World of Little Nell). As with the previous single, fellow Rocky Horror Picture Show alumni Richard Hartley and Brian Thomson were both involved. The single was produced by Richard Hartley, Brian Thomson, and Phil Chapman. Its title track "Fever" is a pop standard that's been covered by legions of other singers since it was first published in 1956, including the likes of Madonna. And while "Fever" is a cover song, the B-side "See You Round Like A Record" was co-written by Richard Hartley, Little Nell, and Brian Thomson. This release by A&M Records was issued on both yellow vinyl and black vinyl, with the pressings otherwise identical. A promotional 12" was also released in the U.S., with a longer version of "Fever".

Dear Fans,

Thanks to your tremendous
response to my last smash
"Do the Swim", I'm back to
inject you with my highly
contagious Fever.

Contract this disco delirium
and you'll punish the parquet
till you drop.

Why wait till Saturday
when I can make your
temperature soar every night.

See you on the Floor!

Love

Little Nell
