The Musical World of Rocky Horror

Warp Machine "Time Warp" CD Single (Front Cover)

This CD maxi-single has four different mixes of The Time Warp by "Warp Machine". These versions are all very energetic, fast, and... well... danceable. They're actually my personal favorite techno remixes of The Time Warp. Despite that, I actually know very little about this group (other than that they're from Germany). I believe this was their first single, and it looks like it was followed by one other single in 1998 titled "We Come From Another Planet".

The CD case has a yellow sticker on the front that says "Produced by Franky Gee von Captain Jack". Franky Gee was the stage name of a former U.S. Army soldier, who was stationed in Germany and decided to stay there after his enlistment expired. He subsequently formed the German EuroPop group Captain Jack, a duo with himself as frontman (in a mock military persona) along with a female singer. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage in 2005, after releasing eight albums throughout the preceding decade.
