Mi hombre de sospechas (NOTE 2) |
| Mysterious Whisper |
(In the night) |
| Sherry Mendez |
All cats are brown |
| Sgt. Polnik |
Grey! |
| Sherry Mendez |
No, Brown!!!!
You can flatter me, mi hombre |
NOTE 1: These first two lines translate as "My man is from Los Angeles (the
City of the Angels), My man is from the shadows".
NOTE 2: This is a "best fit" guess to what everyone heard ("sus esperchace"
and "de suspechas") and it approximately means "My man of suspicions" or "My man above
suspicions". To fit with the scheme of the first verse, it should have to do with "decision",
not "suspicion".
NOTE 3: "de encanto" means "of delight". Assumably, Sherry is referring to
sexual pleasure previously brought to her by Al.
NOTE 4: "Por tu" means "for your" or "for you" so this translates as "For
your plan is in collision".

"Mike Hammer" being a Mickey Spillane detective, and rhyming with "glamour" makes sense.
NOTE 2: One person heard "Americans should carry guns".
