Patricia Quinn played the original usherette for the Rocky Horror Show in London (Theater Upstairs). You can hear her sing on that recording.

You want this album:

http://www.amazon.com/Rocky-Horror-Show ... 0000032OA/

That's the cast album for the very first production of The Rocky Horror Show. Richard O'Brien, Tim Curry, Patricia Quinn, Little Nell, and Jonathan Adams are all in it. It's a great cast album. Very raw. The producer basically locked the entire performing cast up at the recording studio for 24 hours. They recorded and mixed the whole thing in one day.

I'm very lucky. I got to see Patricia revive the roles of the Usherette and Magenta in 1994. I saw the show 20 times that year, I think Patricia was ill for one them.

I must get around to scan my old photos from the production

When I first heard Richard O'Brien singing it. I thought it was a woman!

Columbia69, just out of curiosity, did Pat perform science fiction the same way she did on the original London album when you saw her in 94?

Pat Quinn was the original singer of Science Fiction Double Feature. Jim Sharman told her that she couldn't sing it in the movie because they couldn't have an Usherette open the movie, so she told them to take their movie and shove it up their...well u can guess the rest. Instead they asked Richard to sing it, and i mite as well say he did a phenomenal job, its one of my fav songs. Pat has held a grudge over it ever since. At the end of filming though they asked her to do the famous lips (: i have heard her sing Science Fiction and she does amazing!
