I had a question regarding the 2000 Broadway Revival Cast. I have the official recording and three "live" versions. It would appear as if there are two different Frank N' Furters, because on two of the 'unofficial' recordings, Frank has a deep voice, and his performance is more like Tim Curry's. He is still listed as "Tom Hewitt" in the cast lists. But when you listen to the other unofficial recording, Tom Hewitt sounds totally different, more like he does on the Cast Album.
Is the other guy an understudy, or did Tom Hewitt drastically change his version of Frank sometime during the production?

interesting. Are the recordings dated? The Franks in question may be Terrence Mann. He took over the role towards the end of the run.
Who plays Riff Raff on the recordings? That could provide a possible clue.
