A long time ago, the Shock Treatment Network made a Little Nell CD available that compiled all of her songs - including instrumental and acapella versions of both "Beauty Queen"s.

Unfortunately, this CD seems impossible to get ahold of now, and so does Donny O'Bryan who owned the site, so I'm stuck. Does anyone have these tracks??

You can make thise tracks yourself. Since these tracks were originally recorded in true stereo (where the music is on one channel and the vocal is on the other channel) all they did was separate the vocal from the mucis and called it acapella. I went in and jonined the music and vocal into one channel (mono) becuase it's annoying to hear it split so unequally. It's nothing special but if you want it it's not hard to do yourself if you have a wave editor with whatever program on your hard drive that plays cd's or mp3 waves.

Yes, except for a few problems:

1) I don't own the single, nor would I be able to rip it.
2) The copies on RockyMusic, even the FLACs, are without the stereo divide. They can't be split.
3) The only other copies I know of, on RockyHorror.de, are 128 Kbps MP3's and the stereo divide bleeds thanks to the compression.

The release on "Songs from the Vaults" mixes the channels. The completely separated 'True Stereo' channels are only on the actual vinyl single, so far as I know. I don't have a digital recording of that specifically.
