Wondering if anyone knows of a bed track in existence that has:

NO background vocals
tap solo not cut out
NO tap sounds in solo.

Basically I'm looking for a complete version that you can't often find with Karaoke tracks. All the karaoke I can find on the net or itunes either has the chorus included, or they just skip Columbia completely.

Little help?

Oh, geez... um, the only thing you could *probably* do is splice together a composite of the Time Warp Jam from the end of the film prints (since it has no backup singers) with... I think, the instrumental version of the 1989 remix? I think that one has the tap dance music.

In case this wasn't mentioned yet, you may want to check Target's school supply section for the Rock Band 3-ring binders to use for this guide. I got a cool black binder with the Rock Band logo for 50% off, $2.14. They also had several RB-logo folders, but this 3-ring is perfect for the song books.

Great Idea TheLazenby, It's looking like I'll have to spend some time on Garage Band and put together a little frankensong. Thanks for the suggestions, the track you mentioned will probably work :)

Get some rips of the 5.1 tracks on the DVD and you can isolate things a bit. I think the backing vocals were mixed in at least three of the channels, if not all of them, but it's worth a shot.

I have one with no lead vocals and the tap still in with no the tap shoe sounds. But it still has the Transylvanians singing in the background.

Was the best i could find too.

Thanks everyone for your help on this! I ended up finding a track that still has the tap sounds in it, but we are going to make it work with the choreography anyway. This way we don't have to change shoes and we can make it a bit comedic :)

If I ever do find a copy, I'll make sure to post it for everyone else!
