Apparently this was changed to mid-December, since they also had auditions in London this past weekend. Which in and of itself is a bit strange, considering that the shadowcast phenomenon is much more of an American tradition (wheras the Brits tend to obsess on the stage play more).
Regardless, I'm primarily looking forward to the Blu-Ray remastering of the film. Our local theater in Austin switched to 4k digital projection in all theaters some months ago. When this happened, Rocky Horror was the only film showing that did not have a digital master available. So they ended up having to do DVD projection, which admittedly looked better overall than our faded 35mm film print usually did but was still a bit of a letdown. Particularly when the projectionist isn't paying attention at the end, and the dancing legs menu comes onscreen while our audience is still leaving the theater.
Hopefully 20th Century Fox will create a good master for digital projection, but if not then at least we'll be able to switch to projecting the Blu-Ray at 1080p instead.
