This may sound NAIVE of me, but who the hell is the character Riff Raff in Rocky Horror any way? We all know that he is Frank's butler, duh, but how does he relate to the story? In a couple of websites it states that he is Frank's brother. Or is he just someone sent to serve for Frank while he lives on Earth. I always thought of Riff Raff as a high level Transylvanian government spy who was to keep an eye on Frank N Furter. When things got too "extreme" he and his sister put a stop to it and took over. - Colton |

Riff Raff must have been a military man or spy of some kind, no doubt sent to keep tabs on Frank. I can only imagine that the mission to Earth was viewed quite dubiously by the more reactionary elements in Transylvanian government. Frank obviously didn't know who Riff Raff really was, judging by his reactions. First post! Hi! |

RiffRaff is a very essential part of the plot. He and Magenta take over in the end and take off back to Transylvania. Without him there would not be much of a plot. |
