My name is Liam Hooper and I am an 18 year old film maker from Brighton, England. I recently came across a version of Moonlit Shores of Transylvania online and this inspired me to learn more about ROTOQ. I found a draft script online and am now content on producing a film itself.

If anyone can help me with any sort of information about this I would be thoroughly appreciative.

I would also like to seek Richard O'Brien's permission, a later draft of the script and music notes so if anyone has any sort of line to him for such a unique offer, please do message me.

You are very brave making a film, especially since you might not get his permission. Most people think this may not even be written by Richard. And, you need to find a young Tim Curry, which is what Sonny is supposed to look like. And I am very sorry, it seems I am the only one replying, and I do not have any contact information. The best I can find you is The Richard O'Brien Crusade, and you can just search that, I don't really know the URL. I think that has his fan address, not his real one, but it says he does respond, but, who knows. It mat be a psycho fan, like me.

I know for a fact Richard O'Brien will NEVER approve or allow anyone to use his work for anything. At the last Rocky Horror Convention on April 7th, 2011 we were set to have a reading of Revenge of the Old Queen (a public reading of the script complete with different people doing the characters). Richard found out and threatened to shut down the convention and remove rights to Rocky Horror in the US if we continued. His threats may have sounded drastic but it's his wishes.

You can try contacting him but you will get 1 of 2 responses. 1st being you get NO response AT ALL and ignored. Secondly you will be told to never bring it up or ask such requests again and with legal ramifications. Remember this was a leaked script without his or 20th Century Fox's permission and will hold someone liable.

Sorry, but you will never get what you are asking for. It's nice to dream and it's nice to want to see his scripts come to life but this is just the way it is.

Actually, there was meant to be a live reading of "Rocky Horror Shows His Heels," as Larry Viezel currently owns a copy of the script. Richard's anger was actually over the fact that they were going to show "The Rocki Whore Picture Show" (albeit with porn scenes edited out), because he was pissed that they 'borrowed' his intellectual property for that - mainly, because they mimicked the songs from Rocky. Unless they cut "Rocki" from their schedule (which they did), he was going to pull the rights to show RHPS at the Con.

Not wanting to add fuel to the fire, Larry decided to do a PowerPoint presentation about "Heels" rather than a full-on script reading.

"Revenge Of The Old Queen", as far as I am aware, was NEVER intended to be part of the Con, nor was Richard even aware of the "Heels" script reading - not doing it was out of respect for the man.

It's time some one has an idea of revenge of the old queen. What would be cool at least if there could be an audio cd thst has a reading of Revenge of the Old queen including the songs. What would be kinda cool if some fans of rocky get together to film a scene or two for revenge of the old queen and possibly release it on shock treatment blu-ray, if that ever comes out.

The 4711 Adress was the former Adress of the Timewarp-UK-Fanclub as far as I remember. You can try to contact Richard thru Timewarp.UK , they are in direct contact with Ritz. But since he´s staying in New Zealand most time it could be difficult. Anyway he told me he is still in London every once in awhile (I asked him at the Oakleycourt-Picnic last year).

Chances for rhe script and permission you need is close to zero I think. But give it a try, I´d like to see a filmed version of ROTOQ - I think ROTOQ could be funny as parody to all the x-Files-style alien-series...

And it would definately be fantastic if we could finally the other songs...
