Any way this cast be posted on this site??? I've been looking for it forever!

Huh. I started doing some Google searching to see if I could find the 1995 New Zealand CD available anywhere, and a few minutes later discover that it's actually available directly from The Stetson Group in New Zealand!

I'd never seen a web site for them before. They have the 1995 New Zealand CD available by itself for NZ$30.00 or the Limited Edition (haha... can't be that limited if you're still selling it after a decade!) Double CD with both the 1978 and 1995 New Zealand cast recordings for NZ$50.00. With international shipping included and converting currencies, you'd be looking at just under US $50 for the two-CD set. Expensive, but probably worth it.

P.S. I went ahead and took the 1978 New Zealand cast MP3s offline as a result of this. Their web site is very current, so I'd feel pretty secure about ordering from them (even if it's not exactly a standard e-commerce system).

Just the 1995 New Zealand CD by itself though, not the double-CD. Been awhile since I'd searched them.

I went and ordered the double disc from the Stetson Group, they had good service and all but the discs are CD-Rs. So, just a head's up.

That sounds like a bit of a rip-off I'm afraid then, at US $50 (or probably more today!). Sorry about that. The only other "official" CD-R I've ever gotten was from Footlight Records for the 1980 German Cast. That one wasn't very expensive though, at least.

It doesn't really matter though, the sound quality and everything is fine, and the discs seem to be made well, so... *shrug* It's better than nothing!

Let me understand this right, they put CD-R discs in original cases?

Shawn, as a side note, I had the same CD-R/German thing happen, but I think it was Dress Circle. I wish I could afford to license these recordings, clean them up and release them officially.
