Kidz Bop DID do RHPS (The Time Warp at least). I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I own the CD:

Okay I have something to own up too and I swear on my life this is TRUE; back in first grade for Show & Tell, I attempted to TEACH the rest of my class the "Time Warp". I was like six years old at the time and yes, my mom was called in for a "Parent-Teacher" conference and it resulted in my mom trying very, very hard not to bust out laughing. There, there I have admitted it; thought it was relevant b/c of the topic regarding Kidz Bop's cover of "The Time Warp".

Well, I was listening to the 1973 version of Sword of Damocles with my friend, and she said "Little Nell makes it sound like a ton of little kids are singing it!" and then I was listening to the 1973 versions of the Time Warp and Sicence Fiction, and my other friend (yes, I'm not a hermit) said "Is this Kidz Bop? It sounds like Kidz Bop. Are sure there are no Pop-Tarts? Seriously, this sounds like Kidz Bop, turn it off!"
