Listen to the Movie version of Time Warp.

Listen VERY closely when the Criminologist sings "Put Your Hands on Your Hips"

You can hear Meat Loaf singing it very faintly.

Makes me wonder: was Meat supposed to be the Criminologist too????

NO Meat Loaf was NOT supposed to play anything other than what he played.

MEat Loaf DOES and did sing backing vocals for the films soundtrack. He sang back up on Time Warp and Hot Patootie. If you listen to the instrumentals of the Time Warp you can most certainly him.

Yeah, that rogue "Put your hands on your hips!" is especially audible in the 1989 instrumental remix.

I always assumed it was a guide vocal by Richard - it seems to have an English accent.

That might be right. I always assumed it was Meat Loaf, but it does sound like Ritz when he really lets 'er rip.
