Just added this very nice video clip of the 2008 Australian Rocky Horror Show cast performing a live Sweet Transvestite / Time Warp medley on Australian television ("Countdown to 111 Hits"):

Nice. Though it's weird (and annoying) that all TV appearances by that cast always have the wrong music! Grrr...

BTW, that's Lisa Adam as Col, not Sharon, and Grant Smith as the Narrator, not Derryn.

I'll admit that I took a shot in the dark at most of the names, based on the press release for the Melbourne premiere. ;-) Thanks for the corrections!

I like how the orchestrations in Sweet Transvestite are closer to the Roxie Cast's version. Frank is good. I still don't like Riff Raff... I know he's supposed to be an alien, but his voice is TOO annoying. He makes Mark Price sound like Richard O'Brien...

I love Mark Price as Riff Raff. This guy really sucks though.

Price is okay. I like Jason Wooten better though.

Wooten is fantastic. I even like what Bach did. No one beats Raul Esparza though.

Agreed. Esparza was fantastic. Bach had a great voice, and it's a good thing he can't act for shit, because you CAN get away with that in Rocky Horror. He was terrible in JCS, and I've heard that he was worse than Hasselhoff in Jekyll and Hyde.

WOW! That guy was supremely TERRIBLE! He looks like a more theatrical Alexis Arquette (not ENTIRELY sure if that's a good thing...). Their Magenta wasn't entirely bad....
The aesthetics of the cast/show are awesome, however!

Paul Capsis (Riff) seems to be a love-him-or-hate-him performer. He tended to screech rather than sing in Rocky, which got a bit annoying.
This performance is slightly better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7s-DF9SRhc

His own stuff is (IMO) brilliant, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuDzr2MQ39A

I like Capsis' solo work. But his RHS stint was not all that good. He was channeling Mark Price, but terribly. Again, for the record, I enjoyed Mark Price in some performances. But sometimes, his voice was too nasily and annoying.
