This album was originally released on LP by Orfeon in Mexico in 1976. It was available only on (very scarce) vinyl for almost two decades, before a dedicated fan produced a very limited edition bootleg CD-R in 1996. This official CD reissue came some time later in 1998, or at least that's when the CDs first became available for sale in the U.S. The copyright date actually given is 1995, while also saying they were "Made in U.S.A.". I can't really imagine what set of circumstances would come about that would prevent a single Rocky Horror fan in the United States from noticing them for over two years. This is just one of several strange things that have been noticed about releases of this album, and there has always been a cloud of uncertainty around its legal status. I've also seen that a completely different CD from Sony International apparently shares the same UPC code: "Goza Tu Bailable Fiesta". Obviously no two products are supposed to have identical UPC codes.
At any rate, this Double CD adds the 1973 Original Mexican Cast recording of Vaselina (Grease). Both Vaselina and El Show De Terror De Rocky (The Rocky Horror Show) were originally translated and produced in Mexico by Julissa, who additionally performed leading roles as Sandy and Chelo respectively. In Vaselina, Julissa's husband Benny Ibarra (senior) played opposite as Danny. El Show De Terror De Rocky cast members Héctor Ortiz, Luis Torner, and Manuel Gurría also turn up as performers in Vaselina. And the band ("Zig-Zag") is the same for both productions. For more information, refer to the overall album notes.
