Born: As Laura Campbell on May 24th, 1953 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
"Little Nell" Campbell originated the role of Columbia on stage in the Original London Cast of The Rocky Horror Show. She then reprised this role in its film adaptation, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), and also appeared as Nurse Ansalong in Shock Treatment (1981). Nell has had a wide ranging entertainment career as a dancer, actress, singer, and writer. She was also well known as the proprietor of her namesake New York City nightclub, Nell's, which launched in 1986.
