This started out as a mundane fishing image, with a slight twist being it's from the fish's point of view. Then I found it was too bland, and some old gangster movies set in the 1920's - 1930's gave me the creepy idea of drawing a successful gangster execution. The irony of the fisherman above the victim was more than I could resist. Yes, I have a highly morbid sense of humor. Pencil sketch - unedited. December 22, 1999.
