Maybe it was the combination of the recent earthquake, the crazed people who think the world will end in 2000, the bomb scare at the local air force base nearby, and the laughable Y2K scramble/scams that made me wonder what I would do if a world war broke out. Living in Vegas, with Nellis Air Force Base on the outskirts, we're a major target for any serious attacks on the United States. So what does a person who lives near "ground zero" do when the alarm is raised? I'd brew a pot of coffee and settle down with several books until it hits.
