Call me weird, but I do love the combination of Spanish and English-Victorian styles of architecture and furniture. They somehow compliment each other with the right balance of pieces. This is how I imagine my dream-library or den... maybe located in a nice town like Santa Fe, NM. It would be a place that one would be at peace in. To amplify this I added the sleeping figures of a man, a dog, and a cat (even the decorative Sun wall hanging has it's eyes closed). However, in this very same room you can be monstrously creative and productive (writing, drawing, etc,). Done in No. 2 pencil on a common sketch pad. Mid-October, 1998.
