Hearing about the local government land sales to commercial developers has prompted this drawing. I see our desert wilderness here in Nevada disappearing under acres of concrete, iron and glass. Someday we will find ourselves looking at a potted cactus with a brass plaque that reads, "State Wilderness Preserve - U.S. National Park Service," and wonder what the desert was really like before civilization demolished it.
