Even though we have mild winters in Vegas, I was yearning to see the tropical parts of the world. To get away from the stuffy, rigid ways of urban life seems highly appealing. Dreams of a private beach, or better yet, a private island filled my head this spring. Ah well, maybe someday I'll see the tropics for myself. Unedited pencil sketch. May 16, 1999.
