I had been tinkering with the idea of creating a politically & religiously incorrect image of Frank being crucified on the RKO tower. The Crazed Imagination staff (thanks Ruth), planted the seed when they were asking for Rocky Horror artwork with an Easter theme. That was back in January... I had toyed with a few images, but they looked too traditionally Catholic for my tastes. Finally, this more obscure view/angle (looking at a very severe angle UP at the RKO tower) was much more appealing and thought provoking. NOTE: the "O" is placed above Franks's head to look like a halo. Actually, this is vague enough that it could be imagined in a more "true to the movie" way rather than the original crucifixion idea; Frank draped over Rocky's shoulder as he climbed the tower. Created from start to finish on the PC (stick frames on scratch paper don't count), September 2, 2002.
