I imagined an athletic woman on an East Coast beach in the summer, hence the lighthouse, and the coastal thunderstorm. She would be the kind of person who would play a few games of volleyball, then hop on a surfboard to cool off and relax in the nearby ocean. Meanwhile, others lazed about under their umbrellas, not wanting to lift a finger, except to get a cold drink! Unedited pencil sketch.
