During my lunch hour I was wanting to draw to pass the time, but I didn't know what I should use for inspiration. Then I realized that I was dead tired from staying up too late the night before editing chapters of a book I'm trying to get published. Instead of drawing a self-portrait (which I rarely do), I translated the "tiredness" to the male figure you see here. Unaltered pencil sketch. March 24, 1999.
