A Small David Hockney Piece

One of the most influential artists for me has been David Hockney. He's completely fearless when it comes to experimenting with alternative medias. The open mind Mr. Hockney has for creating his art, allows him to create where other artists would say before trying a new media, "I can't." or "That won't work." After watching several films about David, I found myself drawing an artist figure painting on a huge canvas. It unintentionally ended up looking like David, and this was certainly a good thing. Unaltered pencil sketch. March 20, 2000.
