Signed card with Pasted Photo
What exactly were these used for? They could have been used in books Jerome was sending, or simply as calling cards wherever he traveled. Not being well versed in the various pieces of stationery and their uses, I can only guess at this.
What makes this one a little different is the pasted photo at the bottom right. It looks as if it were clipped from a book or other publication and pasted onto this card AFTER Jerome had signed it (notice the long "swish" under his signature is underneath the top of the photo).
